We help young players build strong basketball fundamentals and give an opportunity to play structured league basketball, coached by qualified coaches who care about their development.
Established club
A successful, established junior basketball club you can trust. We have been playing in the Surrey C.V.L. for the past 22 years. When we played N/L We finished twice among the top 4 teams in the country .
All juniors welcome
We take boys and girls from 6 to 16 years old. All levels welcome. Whether you are new to the sport or experienced player looking to improve at a different club.

About us
Ashford Atoms was founded in 1995 to provide elite junior basketball experiences.
Renamed as Spelthorne Atoms our journey has taken us to the highest level. When we were playing at N/L level we twice finished in the top 4 clubs in the country.
We invite all players of all abilities new or experienced to join us .Unlike many clubs we do not cherry pick players, we aim to teach the rules of the game , improve their confidence and skill levels. Our coaches are all level 2 accredited volunteers who give up their free time to improve the learning experience of the players in practice and at game time.
We enter teams at U12 ,U14 and U16 into the Surrey Central venue leagues and have done so for the last 22 years.
Players from Spelthorne Atoms have gone on to play in the BBL and also represent their countries.
We still have the same vision to transform local talent into champions through high-energy coaching and team discipline.
